2023 MASCUSA Nationals

I can officially say my first MASCUSA Nationals is in the books!

The biggest thank you to Maisel and Leviosa for both humoring me AND bringing the humor to such an intense and stressful week. Between the three of us we were entered in 51 events over 6 days and earned qualifications/placements in 40 classes with 4 new titles including:

MAISEL

  • Sweeps Reserve Head Type!!

  • Herding Instinct Qualification

  • Scent Work Master Container 4th place

  • Beginner Novice Obedience 1st (198.5) & 2nd place (195)

  • Rally Intermediate 3rd (99) & 4th place (95)

  • Fast CAT FCAT (TITLE!)

  • I competed in the Adult Showmanship with Maisel and won the “Spring Chicken” class (18-34 years) it was so nice being back on the end of a show lead with my girl.

LEVIOSA

  • National Specialty Award of Merit

  • Sweeps Bred-By Exhibitor 4th place

  • Scent Work Advanced High In Trials Award

  • Advanced Containers two 1st places

  • Advanced Exterior 3rd & 5th place (TITLE!)

  • Advanced Buried 2nd & 3rd place

  • Excellent Containers 1st place

  • Beginner Novice Obedience 2nd (195) & 3rd place (194)

  • Rally Intermediate 3rd (95) & 4th place (98)

  • Fast CAT DCAT (TITLE!)

  • UpDog Frisbee 4-Way-Play 3rd place

  • Agility Open JWW 1st place

  • Agility Novice FAST 1st place (TITLE!)

  • Breeders Showcase 2nd place with Team Dynasty!

All three of us together won Sweeps Brace Best In Show, Rally Novice Pairs 1st place (199/200) and 3rd place (14/200)
